Formatting Workshops

We strongly recommend students whose program requires a thesis or dissertation to attend a workshop or webinar. Each session covers the following information:

• The Graduate School's required formatting
• Review of the formatting template
• Preliminary and Final Deadlines
• Preliminary Draft process
• Final submission requirements (including printed copies, ProQuest, and doctoral survey)

Please note: this workshop does not provide guidance on research or specific content-related matters.

Summer 2013 Workshop Dates

The Graduate School will host three Thesis/Dissertation Formatting online webinars and one in-person workshop for the Summer 2013 semester. 

Please sign up for only ONE webinar or workshop date.
All sessions cover the same material.

Online Webinars:

Webinars can be viewed from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere you choose. After registering for a webinar session, you will receive an email from GoToWebinar with a personalized link to join the webinar on the specified date. Please save this email.

In-Person Workshop:

The in-person formatting workshop uses the same presentation as the online webinars. All information will be the same.

*Due to limited seating, we ask that only current UTSA thesis/dissertation students register for this session; please do not plan to bring a guest.
