Why pursue an M.A. in Education - Special Education?

The graduate program in special education offers several choices. We have a certification route for those individuals seeking special education certification. This route leads to certification and the Master's degree. We also have two areas of study for the Master's Degree, low incidence disabilities and high incidence disabilities. The low incidence disability area focuses on disabilities that occur less frequently, such as severe mental retardation and autism.
