Roadrunner Assistantship Academy 

The Roadrunner Assistantship Academy provides new and returning Graduate Assistants, Graduate Teaching Assistants, and Graduate Research Assistants the opportunity to learn about important concepts encompassing their positions. The week-long program will take place Aug. 14-18.

The first day of the Academy will be for all assistantship positions (GTA, GA, GRA). The remaining four days will be solely GTA-focused as we take a deep dive into classroom instruction and classroom management, along with instructional technologies and modalities. 

The Fall 2023 Academy training will take place on Zoom. Graduate Teaching Assistants who participate in the full week-long training AND submit a Personal Teaching Philosophy statement post the training, can earn a Teaching Philosophy micro-credential badge.
