Graduate Representatives of Excellence Ambassador Team (GREAT)

The Graduate Representatives of Excellence Ambassador Team consists of a select group of graduate students who act as student hosts at campus events, university sponsored conferences, community and alumni functions.

Established in 2020, the GREAT program is committed to Service, Leadership, Integrity, and Excellence. Some key events that Ambassadors assist with include Spring Showcase, Grad Apps, and Orientation. Visit our Ambassador profile page to find out more about our student leaders!

Future Ambassador Requirements

The UTSA GREAT students function as one unit. These appointments are application based, and are offered as students graduate or no longer meet the requirements.

Requirements To Apply:

  • Must be a Masters or Doctoral student
  • Not already receiving funding departmental funding
  • Full time enrollment (9 credit hours)
  • 3.5 GPA or better
