Master’s International Application Deadlines

Applicants for admission as master’s degree-seeking or special graduate students may apply for admission through the UTSA Online Graduate Application. To facilitate your successful transition into your graduate program, we highly recommend you submit your application as soon as possible within your admissions cycle.
Master application deadlines are specific to your applicant type, domestic vs. international. The deadlines will also vary by college or program. Please consult the list below for your college and/or program of interest.
It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure completion and submission of the application, a non-refundable application fee, and all required supporting documents are on file with the Graduate School by the appropriate application deadline. To expedite admissions processing, applicants can use unofficial supporting documents to submit the application. Electronic documents should be uploaded to the application directly.
All applications are to be submitted by 5:00 PM Central Time Zone (U.S.). When the published deadline falls on a weekend, the application remains open until 5:00 PM Central Time Zone (U.S.) on the following open business day. Deadlines are subject to change.
By meeting the priority application deadline, candidates are considered for possible scholarship and assistant opportunities.
COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE, CONSTRUCTION AND PLANNING (CACP)
The following CACP deadlines apply to all international applicants who are applying to a CACP graduate program. Deadlines are specific to the individual CACP graduate program. If (n/a) is listed, that deadline type does not apply to the specific program.
Applications for CACP Master’s programs are processed as they are received and offers of acceptance are made on a rolling basis; therefore we strongly encourage applicants to apply as early as possible during the application period. This rolling admissions process allows qualified individuals to be admitted on a continual basis until capacity is reached or the deadline has passed.
COLLEGE OF BUSINESS (COB)
The following COB deadlines apply to domestic, international, and VIP applicants who are applying to a COB Master's or Graduate Certificate program. Applications for COB graduate programs are processed as they are received and offers of acceptance are made on a rolling basis; therefore we strongly encourage applicants to apply as early as possible during the application period. This rolling admissions process allows qualified individuals to be admitted on a continual basis until capacity is reached.
International Deadline : Please note for international applicants, given the time-frame to complete the admissions process will vary by program and the time-frame to complete the visa process will vary by home country, we cannot guarantee an admitted international student will successfully enroll for the intended term. In some cases, an international student may need to consider deferment to the next available term by program. Thus, we highly encourage international students to apply as early as possible within your admissions cycle.

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT (COEHD)
The following COEHD deadlines apply to all applicants both domestic and international who are applying to a COEHD graduate program. VIP applicants should follow the domestic deadlines. Deadlines are specific to the individual graduate program. If (n/a) is listed, that deadline type does not apply to the specific program.
Applications for COEHD Master’s and Certificate programs are processed as they are received and offers of acceptance are made on a rolling basis; therefore we strongly encourage applicants to apply as early as possible during the application period. This rolling admissions process allows qualified individuals to be admitted on a continual basis until capacity is reached.
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (COE)
The following College of Engineering (COE) deadlines apply to international applicants who are applying to a COE Master's or Graduate Certificate program. Applications are processed as they are received and offers of acceptance are made on a rolling basis; therefore, we strongly encourage applicants to apply as early as possible during the application period. This rolling admissions process allows qualified individuals to be admitted on a continual basis until capacity is reached or the applicable deadline date has passed.
International Deadline: Please note for international applicants who do not hold an active United States student visa, given the time-frame to complete the admissions process will vary by program and the time-frame to complete the visa process will vary by home country, we cannot guarantee an admitted international student will successfully enroll for the intended term. In some cases, an international student may need to consider deferment to the next available term by program. Thus, we highly encourage international students to apply as early as possible within your admissions cycle. Please do not wait for the posted deadline(s) to submit.
COLLEGE OF LIBERAL AND FINE ARTS (COLFA)
The following COLFA deadlines are specifically for domestic and international applicants who are applying to a COLFA graduate program. Domestic and International VIP applicants should follow the stated Final Domestic Deadlines below.
In many cases, applications are processed as they are received and offers of acceptance are made on a rolling basis until capacity is reached or the stated deadline has passed. If 'Not Available' is listed for the start term of interest, the program does not accept applications for that specific term. If (n/a) is listed, that deadline type does not apply to the specific program.

**Students who apply for the Psychology M.S. program after the listed priority deadline per term may not be admitted if space is not available.
COLLEGE FOR HEALTH COMMUNITY & POLICY (HCAP)
The following HCAP deadlines are specifically for international applicants who are applying to an HCAP graduate program. Domestic and International VIP applicants should follow the stated Final Domestic Deadlines below. If 'Not Available' is listed for the start term of interest, the program does not accept applications for that specific term.
