Basic Certificate Information
The Professional Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning provides students with an introductory understanding of the historical, social, international, and physical context of comprehensive land planning and sustainable urbanism. Interested individuals should contact the Urban and Regional Planning Certificate Program Coordinator within the College of Architecture, Construction and Planning.
Admission requirements and Prerequisites
Admission requriements and prerequisities: Program may require leveling courses to be determined by department. Please consult advisor for the program. Student's not currently enrolled in a graduate program may apply according to UTSA admission requirements for certificate programs (see Chapter 3, Certificate Programs, in this catalog).

Transcripts: Official transcripts from all institutions attended. All international transcripts must be recorded in English or officially translated to English.
Minimum TOEFL Score (for International Applicants): 550 paper/79 internet
Minimum IELTS Score (for International Applicants): 6.5
Additional Requirements: International students and those with international degrees may be required to submit additional documents per our admissions policies and procedures. The Graduate School reserves the right to request any additional documents needed to fairly and consistently evaluate applicant credentials.
