Welcome to the Graduate Resource and Academic Development (G.R.A.D.) Space!
This space connects the graduate student community across the University of Texas at San Antonio to foster collaboration and creativeness in students’ research and projects throughout their academic journey. The G.R.A.D. Space offers various academic and professional services to develop graduate students into the best scholars and professionals while earning their degree.

Business Cards
This service is to create business cards for graduate students which they can share at both professional or academic events.
Business Cards Instructions
Please feel free to submit a request through our online form. Once we have received your request, it will take 1 full business day for your request to be processed. Please allow up to 5 business days for your request to be completed. If you have submitted your request after 3:00 pm, we will process your request the following business day. It will be processed in the order that it was received. We will contact you when your business cards are ready for pick up in the G.R.A.D. Space. G.R.A.D. Space Reservations
The G.R.A.D. space can be reserved by graduate students to work on team projects, research, rehearse for upcoming presentations, dissertation defenses or theses.
G.R.A.D. Space Reservations Instructions:
The G.R.A.D. Space can be reserved up to 30 days in advance. The latest the G.R.A.D Space can be reserved is 24 hours before your desired reservation.
Please note that certain dates and times may be unavailable due to events or holiday schedule.
Please feel free to select the G.R.A.D. Space through our bookings link.
Once you received your confirmation for your reservation, please fill out the online form for either “G.R.A.D. Space – Research Activity Reservation”, “G.R.A.D. Space – Presentation Reservation” or, “G.R.A.D. Space – Defense Reservation”
If you reserved the G.R.A.D. Space for either Research Activity or Presentation Reservation, please arrive 5 minutes before your reservation.
If you reserved the G.R.A.D. Space for the Defense Reservation, please arrive 15 minutes before your reservation to allow ample time for set up.
For headshot appointments, please arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled session. Please notify us if you need to cancel. If you will be more than 10 minutes late, reschedule through the Bookings form.
Once your reservation time has ended, please return any checked-out items to the G.R.A.D. Space front desk.

Poster Printing
As a UTSA graduate student or postdoc, the G.R.A.D. Space provides complimentary access to poster printing services. Print large-format custom posters for academic endeavors, such as presenting at conferences, presentations, meetings etc. Take advantage of this service and make your next poster presentation stand out from the crowd! Please submit a request though our online form. Once we have received your request, it will take 1 full business day for your request to be processed. Please allow up to 5 business days for your request to be completed. If you have submitted your request after 3:00 pm, we will process your request the following business day. It will be processed in the order that it was received. We will notify you via email once your poster is ready for pick up. When the business cards are ready for pick-up, you will need either your Student ID or another picture ID for verification.
