The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs in the Graduate School at the University of Texas at San Antonio is committed to providing assistance to our postdoctoral fellows and their research mentors. It supports an environment for research, discovery and learning, scholarly activities, intellectual and creative endeavors, as well as public service and community engagement. The Graduate School Office of Postdoctoral Affairs ensures success of multidisciplinary groups of graduate and postdoctoral fellows, in partnership with staff, faculty and administrators at UTSA, in Texas, the country and the world.

UTSA is a Carnegie R1 institution, and our postdoctoral fellows across the university play an important role in our research and knowledge enterprise. At UTSA postdoctoral fellows are those who are in training with a research advisor and who are within 6 years of having attained their doctorate degree. To view the UTSA HOP, click here. The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs serves as the hub for all UTSA postdoc fellows, including postdocs from UTSA’s partner institutions in San Antonio.

UTSA’s Office of Postdoctoral Affairs is a collaboration between the divisions of Academic Affairs and the Office of Research, and it is housed within the Graduate School Dean’s Office.
