Online Resources

First Generation and New Student Resources

The Graduate School is pleased to provide online resources dedicated to the success of our first-generation graduate students.  Both first-gen and new graduate students will find these resources helpful to effectively navigate their graduate school journey.

CITI Online Grant Proposal Program

The CITI Grant Proposal Development Program is a fully online, self-paced proposal development training to help graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and other professionals better understand grants, how to find them, and how to create and submit a proposal. The 9-module course aims to take much of the mystery out of grant writing by walking learners through the process one-step at a time with in-depth instruction that includes videos, exercises, resources, and examples.

Presenting at Academic Conferences

The Graduate School supports our graduate students' professional growth with services, resources, and funding that will prepare you, and afford you the opportunity, to present your research at professional academic conferences both domestic and abroad.  Follow the steps outlined below to effectively represent yourself and UTSA at your next academic conference presentation.
