Preliminary Draft Reviews

Effective October 1, 2020, The Graduate School is partnering with UTSA Libraries for the Preliminary Draft Review process. Draft reviews for thesis and dissertation graduates will be available with members of the Library staff until 1 week prior to the semester final submission deadline.

Draft review appointment overview:

  • Appointments are conducted remotely via video chat and take approximately 30 minutes
  • Your draft’s content does not need to be complete to schedule an appointment, but your draft’s formatting should be complete for review of The Graduate School’s formatting template ’s standards
  • During the appointment, a staff member will:
    • Review your document’s formatting and inform you of any revisions needed to meet The Graduate School’s template standards
    • Provide a brief overview of the final submission process to ProQuest
    • Answer any general questions you have about the formatting and submission process
