You're invited to a day of fun and learning to network with fellow new students and hear from current students and faculty!

REQUIRED INTRODUCTORY DOCTORAL ORIENTATION

Admitted for fall your orientation will be August 14, 2024 from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., information will be sent the week of 7/29/2024.

Future Orientations

Spring 2025 will be February 5, 2025 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

We offer other important aspects of GSO prerecorded on the Graduate School YouTube channel Orientation Playlist for you to view at your own pace; including student success breakout sessions covering the following topics:

  • Learning in a Virtual Environment

Prior to the start of your first semester, make sure all items are complete on the Graduate School Rowdy Ready Checklist .

If you are an international student and have questions about intake paperwork, please contact International Student Services at international.services@utsa.edu. GSO is held prior to the fall and spring semesters; summer admits are encouraged to attend in the fall semester Orientation program.
