In this session, graduate students will explore what hiring managers and recruiters are looking for in today's competitive job market, including current trends in resume formatting and professional online branding. Participants will learn how to effectively showcase their education, research, technical and transferable skills, accomplishments, and professional experiences in ways that align with employer expectations. The session will also provide practical strategies for optimizing LinkedIn profiles, avoiding common application mistakes, and creating a consistent personal brand that increases visibility and improves the chances of securing interviews.
